Do
you like the sea? St Valery en Caux is
a seaside town only 7 km away and offer a beach,
games and facilities for the children and trips
out to sea. Do you like the sea and walking? Veules
les Roses is only 8km away and is one of the
most beautiful villages of France. There
is a walking circuit along the smallest river
in France that takes you along the Veules for
just over a kilometre to the beach passing by
18th century thatched cottages and water mills.
And a little rest along the way at the Tea Rooms
would complete the day.
Do
you like visiting gardens? All within a radius
of 30 km there are no less15 famous gardens open
to the public like the Parc des Moutiers, the
Garden of Princess Sturdza, Le Potager de Miromesnil,
le Clos du Coudray, le Jardin de Louanne.
Do
you like walking or riding through the countryside?
We provide a map of the trail which leaves from
the Chateau. Our Region has the most trails
and paths across the countryside, where the
blue linseed fields, the hydrangeas, the wheat
and the woods make a marvellous backdrop to the
villages with their thatched roof and half timbered
cottages. A 10 km walk will take you to the village
where Bourvil had his family home.
