The chateau is situated near to the sea (4 miles – 10mn), Dieppe is only 30mn away and offers a golf (18 holes), a marina, a museum of ivories and a world kite show. Etretat is only 38km and 40mn away and is wellknown for its cliffs.
We are 4 miles – 10mn from Veules les Roses with its pebble beach. It boasts the smallest river in France and has a well marked walk which takes in many of the historic and interesting buildings. There are antique shops in this beautiful village and close by.

Due to the extraordinary Normandy light, the coast has been painted by the impressionist painters (Monet, Renoir, Cezanne) and Braque and Dufy.

Do you like golf ?
You can play at the golf courses in Dieppe and Etretat (both 18 holes). Opening in 2010 is a new practice golf range at Ermenouville. This is only 5mn away.

Do you like visiting gardens? All within a radius of 30 km there are no less15 famous gardens open to the public like the Parc des Moutiers, the Garden of Princess Sturdza, Le Potager de Miromesnil, le Clos du Coudray, le Jardin de Louanne.

Do you like walking or riding through the countryside? We provide a map of the trail which leaves from the Chateau. Our Region has the most trails and paths across the countryside, where the blue linseed fields, the hydrangeas, the wheat and the woods make a marvellous backdrop to the villages with their thatched roof and half timbered cottages.
A 10 km walk will take you to the village where Bourvil had his family home.

Do you like visiting Chateaux and our heritage? Again our region is one where there are the most chateaux and manors in France. They are all privately owned but some open there doors during the tourist season.
